Matthew was proudly born and raised in Los Angeles, California.  He began his higher education at the University of California, Davis, where he graduated with Honors and spent a year studying abroad at the Paris Institute of Political Studies, commonly ranked as one of the best universities for political science and international studies in the world.  Matt remained in Northern California to attend San Francisco's University of California, Hastings College of Law, and he returned to Paris to finalize his education by earning a dual Masters Degree in European Laws at the Sorbonne's Law School, Université Panthéon-Assas.  In doing so, Matt became the only student in his class to earn two law degrees before graduation.

Since venturing into his own practice, Matt has been honored to represent business-oriented clientele in exciting new industries.  Some past and current clients of HuzLaw include an Electric Vehicle startup, cryptocurrency and precious metal asset managers, professional visual / musical artists, and legal cannabis businesses / owners throughout California.

While in law school, Matt served as a senior editor of the Hastings Business Law Journal, and he graduated with an additional concentration in International Law.  His other recognitions prior to graduation included a "Best Oral Advocate" award, and a "Best Grade" award in Legal Writing and Research.  As an elected vice-president of his law school's student body, Matt began his journey into public service where he now serves as an appointed Traffic and Transportation Commissioner for the great City of Calabasas.

Matthew is licensed to practice law in the State of California and is a member in good standing of the California Bar Association (State Bar Number 326242).
